COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A very light golden ale that is malty sweet, almost honey-like in the nose. This ale has a light to medium body and a very delicate flavor. Easy drinking, it has very low bitterness and a soft dry finish.

Aroma and appearance are a bit lacking. Clear light blonde with zero head retention and a mostly non-existent nose with hints of earthy pine. Unfortunately I was hoping this would quench my thirst on a hot Arizona day but no luck... Body was thin and flavor? What flavor not much to this one. There are definitely more true to style Kolsch beers out there.

On tap @ Four Peaks (flight). Pale clear yellow color with a small white head. Beer has a faint aroma of straw and grain. Light and fizzy with very little bready flavor. I can’t say it tasted like much of anything, though it was not offensive.

Lord light golden with medium head that persists and leaves lots of pacing. Aromas of lemon, deer tea, and bavarian hops. Definitely a German beer.slightly sweet up from with mild bitterness that quickly overtakes. Chewy palate with soft carbonation. Very good. Although very different from other kolsch

Sampled at CanFest 2011 in Reno. This is light even by kolsch standards. Not bad just pretty boring for this beer geek. Good cereal taste but lacking pizazz.

Draft at brewpub. Pours nearly clear with a thin head which pretty accurately sums up the taste as well. Not my favorite style.

UPDATED: JUL 27, 2011 On tap at Four Peaks in Tempe. Crystal clear golden/yellow with a fine white head. Clean cereal/corn aroma. Good corn/light malt flavor with light honey/caramel sweetness. Slight sour aftertaste that’s nice here. Light earthy hop bitterness to balance the malt sweetness. Slightly creamy and could be a bit crisper for this style. Very refreshing, tasty and easy to drink.

Poured up on tap at the Tempe Four Peaks with clear gold body and nice effervescent bright white head. The aroma offers up light notes of lemon, spicy hops an sugary sweet malts. The taste has pleasing fresh bright flavors with some lemon, spicy hops, bitter floral hops and then heading into some malt graininess. Nice crisp hot weather brew.
