COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our version of a saison has been hopped with East Kent Goldings and we used four different spices (lavender, juniper, grains of paradise and grapefruit zest). 15% rye malt has been incorporated to give a spicy yet refreshing flavor to the beer. It is hot outside so we thought we’d make it a drinker with only 4.9% ABV.

Clear deep gold color with a small foamy head that lasts a while. Light apple, yeast, hint of lemon and a dry finish. Pretty tasty.

Tap at Scottsdale location. Met up with Footy and he bought me this one. Good citrus aroma that by finish was somewhat metalic for some reason. Golden body with white head. Has a good zesty lemon fruit flavor that was refreshing. Easy on the palate good brew. Thanks Footy.

tempe...pours a hazy rich straw color with a thin white head which disappears rather quickly. it smells of flowers... lots of them...pils malt, lemon, dust and a bunch of earthy yeast. pronounced flavors of black peppercorns and untoasted coriander... along with flowers, wet straw, lemon, pale malt, faint grapefruit, minerals/copper and a dry finish. yeast takes over the aftertaste. medium body, smooth texture and a crisp mouth feel. it is easy enough to drink when it is 100°but it lacks that ’character’ which makes a really good saison. perhaps bottle some?...6/3/6/3/15/3.3

On tap at brewpub. Pours a nice golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is banana, cloves, spices. Flavor is citrus, banana, spices, hops. Finishes bitter sweet and spicy. Decent saison.

Sampled at the brewery. Pours a very light pils color with minimal white head. Aroma is of rose, candy, and spices. Taste is quite smooth, nicely carbonated. Lots of citrus flavors - distinct lemon, orange, and grapefruit. Aftertaste has some woodiness and spiciness left on the palate, as well as that rose-type flavor/aroma. Overall a very interesting little beer.
