COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A strong India Pale Ale that is marked by intense hop flavor and high hop bitterness. This style of beer needed the high hop and alcohol to survive the trip around Africa. Medium to light body and very bitter.

I disagree with the description but I love this IPA. Not especially bitter. What I love here is the strong citrus aroma and taste and the slight sweetness in flavor. Good stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at a restaurant in Tempe, canít remember the name of it. Pours a clear golden-amber with a finger of off-white head. Notes of lemon and grapefruit citrus, pine, leaves, caramel malts. Straightforward. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a malty mouthfeel. Good IPA.

14 karat pour with a white pillowy head that leaves remnants inside the glass. Bright citrus punch with tart grapefruit pith, lemon zest, and orange rind. Nice piney complexity with a touch of honey. Another well crafted beer from Four Peaks!

A golden ipa with a thin creamy off white head. In aroma, sweet biscuit malt with floral hops, light chalky notes, nice. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, light grapefruit, OK. On tap at Angelís Trumpet.

On tap @ Brewery. Pours a amber orange with a white head. Aroma is a fruit citrus, hoppy earthy tones, floral and malts. Taste is bitter, citrus, dry hopped and floral notes. Decent balance, medium to full bodied with light carbonation. Not great ,but not bad.

Pours light amber orange with a nice off white lacing head. Aroma is citric fruity malty; very fresh with some floral tones. Flavor is a bit towards the dry hoppy citric piny and malty; easy drinking, not too heavily carbonated. Good biter fruity finish.

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2013 4oz draft 9/1/13 (Copper Blues-PHX) pours a medium amberish orange with a small off white head. Aroma of hops and malt. Taste of citrus, pine, and malt. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and quite tasty.

Dangerous to the parched lip. Arizona day drinking may produce a hazy outcome. Cheers!

Medium, clear gold, filmy white head. Very nice candied gel aroma - sweet. Very smooth, decent hops, but not agressive. Some seedy/cereal tones. Sessionable. On tap, brewpub.

A very average IPA in terms of aroma, bitterness and flavor. However, sometimes you just want an IPA, that isnít anything else and this would do it. Overall, I liked it.
