3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 bleeng (1372) - Houston nowhere near Beersel, Texas, USA - JAN 17, 2009
UPDATED: JUL 1, 2010 Tap at the brewery 1/13/09. Filtered, golden with a small head. Nose is very light floral with some hop profile. Taste comes off as an English style IPA, very light hop profile, floral, citrusy. Mouth is fluffy, with a medium body and a taste that hangs on all the way down. Smooth drinking good beer. 6/10 rerate. This tasted like a very old beer. Not good that night.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 turbo (1271) - Arizona, USA - MAR 15, 2005
This turned out to be my favorite of the day at Four Peaks.
Golden yellow with a good head and lacing.
Nice crisp hop and malt aroma.
Flavor was hopy but not over the top. Citrus on the finish.
This is a good easy drinking I P A and I ended up having two more pints for the road.

Pours a rich amber from the tap at Four Peaks with a tim off-white head. Mild hops in the nose and on the palate, which cause me to question this beer’s classification as an IPA, but the addition of sweet malts to this brew make it balanced and highly drinkable.

Golden orange Pour, white head. Floral and citrusy on the nose. Malt on the front of the taste with some nice hop character and some bitterness. Wonderful IPA and very tasty.

Draft at brewery. I thought this was fantastic. My previous experiences with Hop Knot were not charming, but this was really great. Nice citrus, light floral and very clean and bright hop flavors like a tart harvest ale. I was very impressed, and this wasnt even my first beer of the night. This batch is SOLID.

Had this on draft at four peaks brewpub. Orange pour. Fluffy sticky head. Very hoppy but smooth. Floral and citrus. Earthy. Love it. Better than ratings give it

Nothing special, just a typical IPA. A medium body with a decent bitterness. Quaffable.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 KUEric (862) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - MAR 26, 2006
On Tap: Pours a deep golden, almost brown color with some nice lacing and good head and retention. There was a wall of head along the shaker throughout much of the beer. The aroma was suprisingly hoppy I thought with some rather sweet aromas. (Although it was hard to tell because the entire brewpub smelled of hops and barley) There was a very good flavor and it was a tasty beer.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 DrunkAsASkunk (847) - Lynnwood, Washington, USA - MAR 1, 2004
Simple yet pleasant beer as i expected. It poured an amber color with little head, a slight white mess which dissipated within seconds. The aroma was very hoppy as to be expected. Earthy and piney notes wafted throughout. The body was fairly light however. Somewhat watery with fresh hops, but light light LIGHT body. This ends very dry and extra bitter. I'm not much of a bitter hound, so this was a bit over the edge for me, but it was still a good beer. I enjoy some fresh hops, and these were pretty good!
