Not sure why this is listed as Winter Wobbler... But this is not that. At any rate, this beer was recently tapped and barrel aged. It. Is. Amazing! I rate this a 5/5 on Untappd, and I rarely find a beer that I would rate 5/5. This beer smells like a sweet stout, with hints of booze. Then the mouthfeel is thick and coats your palate with a thin layer of bubbles leading to a hot sweet lasting RIS finish. Amazing all the way around. Four Peaks never seems to let me down! Not Winter Wobbler but an amazing beer.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
One of Four Peaks’ best beers. They bring it back occasionally at fests and sometimes special at the brewery. Heavy on bourbon and some vanilla and dried fruits are present as well in the nose. Some chocolate to go along with the nose in the taste. This needs to be available a lot, it is that good.

Black pour. Small head. Aroma is a bourbon bomb! And thats ok with me! Lots of really good vanilla, oak, drunken raisins, licorice and some molasses too. Flavor is sweet and loaded with bourbon, oak, molasses, licorice, roasted malt, chocolate and hints of coffee on the back. Nice brew.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap @ AZ Strong Beer Festival. Pretty decent porter, very average stout, below the line Impy. Dark mahogany pour a bit short of black with a thin latte head. Aroma is Folger’s crystals and Good & Plenty candy. Flavor is also has a little chocolate and alcohol...unfortunately, it seems like the right "types" of flavors are there but with average/cheap ingredients. A little chalky.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at the brewery. Deep black pour with a creamy, lasting tan head that leaves wet lace. Aroma of roasted coffee, licorice and piney hops. Lots of elements in the flavor, most notable is the licorice. Also caramel, cocoa, roasted malt, coffee and a hint of hops on the finish. Smooth and creamy on the palate. This is very tasty stuff!

So Sirius Black makes me think of Harry Potter - I guess I’m a dork.
The beer wasn’t as imposing as most Imperial Stouts can be. I actually thought it might have been a Barelywine to tell how sweet this one was.
