COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A hard-rocking sly session ale (easy drinking) that smacks the lips with tasty bitter hops and citrusy grapefruit shots to the nose. It finishes crisp and dry, sustaining like a windmill power chord. All of a sudden it hits you...this is the one.

Found this on a pilgrimage to my hometown. Pretty good effort from what seems like a new brewery. Color was a bit dark for the style, but it didn’t taste as malty as it looked. Aroma had a bit of earthy malt with a floral pine hop note. Flavor was well balance between malt presence and hop bite. It looked loaded with caramel malt (which I hate in an APA) but I was pleasantly surprised.

12 oz can at home. Pours a dark golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale toasted malts, a hint of caramel, citrus, grassy, herbal hops, grapefruit, finishes kind of bland, dry, ok but there are many superior options.

Draft at Nation, served in a pint glass. Pours a clear deepish golden color with a small eggshell white head that settles into a ring. Pale and sweet malt backbone holds together leafy, grassy, citrusy, and slightly spicy hops, with some green and black tea for measure. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a tea-like, slightly malty, barely bitter mouthfeel. Not really a ’session ale,’ as they say, because it’s a little too heavy on the palate for that and the ABV is to high. But it’s a good APA nonetheless.

I don't usually like pale ales so I'm sure my rating in lower than most. This beer does have great color and aroma and pours with a very small head. As I expected the taste was a bit to hoppy for me and stayed around a little to long. I did enjoy this the more I drank and would probably order it if they had no other craft beers.

can @ Party Town/ Florence KY --- Clear medium orange amber, frothy white 2" head, splashes of lace. Aroma of malt and hops. Taste is a little malt, followed by solid, but pleasing, citrus hops. The hops don’t load up enough to drown the malt, so the finish is somewhat balanced. A nice enough pale ale, but I can see no way to justify it as a session brew (5.75%abv? no way; on top of that, a very full body)

Tasted from draft. Pours a clear orange amber with white head. Aroma is fairly sweet and not too prominent with caramel and some piney notes. Taste is moderates bitter and mild to moderately sweet with flavors of caramel, toffee, biscuits, pine and grassy floral flavors. Overall average for style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can shared. Poured a darker orange color with white head. The aroma is bitter and citrus. Medium malt base with the citrus on the front end and a long lasting bitterness on the back end. Wouldn’t really call this a session beer. It’s not offensive in any respect drinkable but it’s just another beer off the shelf.
