COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This bitter beer hits major-key notes of citrus and flowers, but finishes with a mellowing, hoppy flourish. Smooth and spirited at the same time?

Hopped with Centennial, Cascade and Falconer’s Fight

On tap @ Bitter Tasting Room. Hazed orange/amber pour with a white head. Nose has a really nice citrus character to it. Some grapefruit and orange peel, mild bread, and a fair bit of pineapple. Light pine and grass. Flavor has a good sweetness to it of pineapple and peach. Bitter pine, grass, and grapefruit. Slight maltiness of caramel and bread.

Peru solid ipa. Nice bitterness, but not too much. Refreshing flavorful, fruity, drinkable and fresh.

I liked this one. Good American styleIPA from a Canadian brewer. On tap, pours amber. Good nose of light grapefruit, tropical fruit, hop. Taste is a little malty forward with great citrus hop follow up, nice texture on the palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ambré/jaune avec une mousse moyenne blanche. L’arôme du pin, agrumes, et un peu du malt. Le goût est du pin et agrumes avec un peu du malt. Très facile à boire et très fraîche.

2014-05-03, draught at the brewery, 8-5-7-5-14=39
Hazy light amber color with small compact head. Wonderful fruity hop aroma, apricots. The malt flavor has some caramel tendency, just a bit chewy, whereas the current trend would be to brew leaner beers; good hopping, that is both fruity and resiny. Light animal touch.
Very good, but a bit heavy.

2014-01-09, draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver, 8-5-7-4-15=39
Hazy amber color with small head. Very nice aroma, tropical fruits, pineapple being more evident. Nice mouthfeel, quite round and smooth; strong caramel flavor, moderately sweet, quickly getting nutty; strong bitterness, with good hop resins and hop fruitiness. Balanced. Possibly there is a light buttery touch.
Very good, although I prefer when IPAs are less caramelly.

Clear copper pour. Aroma is strong of citrusy hops with caramel malt. Sticky resinous hops, and an overly sweet caramel body.

WheatKing (1305) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 8, 2013
Sampled at the GCBF 2013, on cask dry-hopped with citra. Cloudy light amber, off-white head. Nose of citrus and stonefruit. Flavour is mild grape. Low carbonation, medium palate.

CapFlu (4538) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 6, 2013
Sampled at Great Canadian Beer Festival 2013. Somewhat resinous in the nose and floral flavor - but it's seems beyond be missing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
