On tap at Alibi Room in Vancouver. A pale orange amber beer with a whitish head and repoured into a big tasting glass I sure enough do get a bit of that brettanomyces funk that the beer cognoscenti are often yammering about. Ahem! No further comment. 3.5.

This is one where i’ve had it a few times and yet...no rating? fuck. Big pillowing head on a clear-ish orange body. Great fruity and brett aroma. Big citrusy hops and a strong bretty not. Quite reminds me of hop savant, fantastic.

Bouteille(Merci beaucoup, Jonas!!!): Golden with a faint orangey sheen, hazy to cloudy, stable - almost rocky - white head with a little lace; citrussy and herbal-hoppy nose, backed by delicate bready and cellary (Brett?) aromas; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied and very soft; lingering bitter and a bit cellary and grapefruity finish. A good one…

Thanks to Erik for this. What an awesome beer! Pours cloudy gold with a big pillow on top. Aroma is sweet tropical fruit with citrus hops and sweet honey and brett. Taste is great brett characteristics with big tropical and citrus hop bitterness but nicely balanced with the brett character.

On tap at Red Beard. Cloudy dirty yellow orange, white foam mostly fades. Tropical foresty fruity yeasty aroma. Taste is fruity yeasty, milder biscuity malts, herbal citric hop bitterness, very faint fruitier funk, some spice, dry. Average carbonation, light-medium bodied, well hopped. NFL (Not For Lagerboys)

This is a golden yellow beer with a sticky white head. Nice citrus hop nose of lemon peel and bitter orange and that musty Brett smell that I am only recently learning to trust. Flavors of bitter orange and lemon peel over a nice doughy bread flavor and an earthy, musty Brett funk that lingers like something vaguely sexual. This is a very nice IPA variant.

Bomber thanks to mcberko. Pours clear light amber with creamy white head; great retention, some lacing. Aroma is best described as tropical fruit and cream (as in, peaches and cream but with pineapple and mango in place of the peaches). Taste brings light sweetness; tropical citrus creamcicle with a short, moderately bitter dry finish. Palate: medium- body, slick oily texture, average carbonation. Overall: this is quite nice, and probably the best "brett IPA" I’ve had.
