Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, clove, honey and light sweet grains. Taste is sweet malts, honey, tart, earthiness, clove and grapefruit. Finishes pretty well and not overwhelming with a puckering sensation. Appearance is a hazy gold with a medium fluffy head that retains quite well.

UPDATED: JUL 19, 2016 It?s a really good IPA, nice citrus level, I could drink this forever. If there was more citrus you would get that BO quality that you may find in some IPAs. Others are right in that the Brett has not truly developed, however I think it has really balanced the beer as a whole.

Bottle from mcberko-thanks, Matt! Clear copper with thick brett head. Nose is some biscuity malts and grapefruit, slightly dusty element, but not the big tropical brett I’d expected. Taste is biscuity malts, dry, with bitter grapefruit pith. Good but probably could use a few months to let the brett develop....oh well, said to drink fresh on the bottle.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Golden yellow with full off-white head. Sweet grapefruit hops, mild tropical hops, brett just fills in the extra notes behind balancing everything out.

Tap at Festibiere. Pours orange with lots of head and lots of lacing. Notes of fruity and dank, some peach, maybe pear, brett is pretty quiet. Medium bitter light sweet. Full sticky body with lively carbonation.

On tap at Festibière de Gatineau. Blond hazy body with a thin white foamy head. Hoppy aroma with citrusy and mango hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries citrusy, herbal, and brett notes. Ends with a long bitter/herbal finish. Well done.

Bottle, shared with Grippitis, Parksy, and PQ. Hazy medium gold, large lacy white head. Lovely beguiling Brett-hop character, floral and forest character in abundance, maybe some lavender? Underlying funk. Long bitter finish. Truly elegant, very cool. Would love to have this again.

Appearance: slightly hazy pale gold, massive rocky white head, excellent retention and lacing. (4/5) Aroma: citrus, stone fruit, tropical fruit, dry funk. (8/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate-high bitter. (8/10) Palate: medium body, moderate-high carbonation, dryish lingering bitter and funky finish. (4/5) Look at that head! Just look at it! You don’t need to smell or taste this to know it’s brett. And there’s no doubt about the brett once the smell and taste hit! Balanced light sweetness, hoppy citrus and fruit, and a lingering dry funk. Really quite nice. (16/20)
