COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
New World flavours infuse this traditional Czech-style Pilsner. Bittered with Bohemian Saaz and dry-hopped with New Zealand Motueka, for a lively citrus lift.

Extra from mcberko-thanks, Matt! Orange gold with minimal head, much darker than I expected. Minimal nose of some hops. Bitter, dank resiny hops on the finish. Not very pleasant.

Bottle, thanks to mcberko. Pours clear amber with white head that dissipates too quickly. Aroma of grass, light honey, cracker, hint of citrus, a bit of sulfur. Taste: somewhat sweet, muted breadiness, lasting bitter finish. Palate: light body, sluggish carbonation, oily texture. Overall: I had expected more from this -- appearance, taste, and palate all leave something to be desired.

Bottle. Hazy amber, white lace. Light floral and grassy hops, the slightest hint DMS. Medium body, mellow sparkly mouthfeel. Fruity and straw like malt base, crisp grassy, apple like and herbal hops. Nice.

Aromatic hops, lots of pale malt, great balance, lots of bitterness. Top stuff. The malts have a nice biscuity quality as well. Long, lean, hoppy...this could be a staple.

Jaune brillant avec une mousse moyenne blanche. L’arôme des agrumes et du malt pilsen. Le goût est très fraîche, et comme un pilsner classique mais plus houblonnée avec les notes claire d’agrumes.

On tap at Darby's. Pours a slightly hazy orange-yellow, with no cap. Aroma of biscuit, straw, dry hops. Taste is tart and bitter. Medium carbonation, dry finish.

2014-05-03, draught at the brewery, 7-5-7-5-15=39
Hazy light amber color with compact head. Moderate grass aroma, slightly metallic (6.5). Good round mouthfeel; with such color, the malt base has an expected caramel component (7.5), some cereal, a bit of hay, that plays well with the grass power from the hop; strong bitterness, leading to a satisfactory final, almost pungent, chewy, long, perfect.
Almost Kellerbier, excellent.

2013-12-22, draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver, 7-4-7-4-15=37
The color is light amber, hazy, with creamy head. Dry but solid mouthfeel, with good malts accent, and almost a citrusy touch (cedar); the bitterness level is strong but balanced.
Unexpected, very interesting.

On tap at Spud Shack in New Westminster. Not much to say here, really. A good, clean refreshing pilsner. A bit light on the hops, frankly. Mostly a malted impression.
