Aged in Okanagan red wine barrels, our Saison Brett is invigorated by wild yeast strain Brettanomyces, inviting hues of straw and earth.

Bottle - Candied pineapple and sweet fruity brett notes. Cloudy gold with a rich white head. Tart fruity and a little spice. Fruit is juicy and tartness is light with a lingering yeasty finish. Quiet nice.

Bottle share. Thanks Leo! Cloudy orange. Aroma is funky cheese, straw, dry wood. Taste is quite bitter, chased by a soft sweetness. Very dry, lingering finish.

Great beer to enjoy on a hot summer day. Came across it this summer and found myself going back to the liquor store every other day for the sweet nectar that is Saison! Going to Four Winds this weekend for a tasting. More ratings to come!

Bottle (750 ml). From Lurkaholic, thanks Thomas! Slightly hazy bright golden with a huge slowly diminishing white head and some lacing. Aroma is more winey than brett forward, but the brettanomyces are definitely there too. There’s also oak, some yeast and biscuity malt notes. Taste is also wine forward with dusty brettanomyces, oak and medium fruitiness. Medium body. Moderate/medium carbonation. Moderately dry finish. The balance isn’t perfect because the winey notes are really up front but this is still mightily tasty. A very well executed beer. I loved it.

Bottle shared by Tom. Nice clear gold pour with white head. Aroma is really winey, red wine, light mushroom brett notes, really woodsy. Taste is bretty, light tartness, really woody, fruity finish. Palate is nice and fluffy, dry. Really nice.

[the Better-late-than-never rating] So much going on and all of it good: orange, lemon zest, vanilla, oak, biscuit, grassy and floral hops -- but it’s the Brett that gives it the characteristic earthy/spicy/leather funk that’s sets everything off. Has many of the same elements as their regular saison, just stepped up several notches in terms of taste and sophistication.

Cloudy golden pour with a thick, puffy white head. Aroma is bright citrus, yeast, hay, and some funk. Effervescent and dry. Brett adds a nice bit of funk without overpowering. Citrus, spice, some pine flavours. Quite nice.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden orange with a very large lingering white foamy head. Aroma brings out loads of brett, Belgian yeast, and biscuity notes. Flavour is very funky and wild, with dry brett, floral notes, Belgian yeast, and dry hops. Finishes on funky, dry, and yeasty notes. Now this is an expert brett saison. Must be the best farmhouse ale in BC. Phenomenal.
