330ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden hue with a one finger off white head. Aromas of dried lemon peel, Belgian yeast, damp concrete, black pepper, and light orange notes. Oddly sour up front with metallic hops, citrusy notes and light damp concrete that leads into more metallic bitterness, light green vegetable, heavy mineral notes, and woody/straw notes. Pretty harsh for a saison. Thereís a serious flavour clash going on with the sour, citrus, metallic notes. Overall, a bit of a mess that I resorted to chugging.

Bottle (330 ml). Extra from Damon, thanks! Clear golden with a medium slowly diminishing white head and little lacing. Aroma is moderately spicy/peppery with fruity notes, yeast and citrus presence. Taste is also moderately spicy and peppery with fruits, citrus, biscuity malt and hints of alcohol. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Moderately dry finish. Light lingering spiciness. Decent Saison. Tasty. A bit too spicy for my liking, but itís still drinkable and not completely unbalanced.

One of the worst beers i ever drank. Donít understand how people are scoring it so high, i think its just so they come off looking unique. In truth, this beer is absolute garbage. Sour taste that makes drinking sauerkraut pretty damn good in comparison.

Pours a pale hazed ale in the glass with a rich frothy white cap that lasts. Aroma is spicy, light biscuit tones, hoppy. Peppery mouth feel, very dry and refreshing. Flavor is sharp, bright, spicy-hoppy- clean dry finish - the epitome of the farmhouse ale genre - really drinkable and refreshing.

Part of the BC Craft 6 pack. Served in a tulip. It pours a luscious orange gold with a massive fluffy head. Bready, zesty orange, lovely soft spicy saison esters. Wow after the soft approachable nose, the taste is very sharp, a bit spikey metallic saison esters, spice and fruitiness comes in afterwards. The taste is a bit tart, the aroma was my cup of tea the taste less so but it is still a solid enough saison.

330 ml bottle from LCBO (part of Natural Selection BC Craft Brewers Sampler Pack). Pours a cloudy orange colour with huge, dense white head. Aroma is full of fruity esters, spiciness, citrus and flowers. Flavour is tart peach, apple, some funkiness, clove, coriander and some citrusy and floral hop notes. Fine, lively carbonation. Very nice. Winner of this mix pack.

Dark orange pour, huge white head. Strong tropical fruit aroma, lots of yeast, light metals, and slight citrus and spice. The bitterness is kept in check, there are hints of some funk in here also. More spice, and some green, citrusy hops. This reminds me alot of a belgian strong more than a saison, but still quite good.

From LCBO sampler 6-pack. Pours a beautiful burnt apricot with a two finger meringue cap. First thing you notice when you sample this brew is that several of the reviewers down the page donít understand or like the saison style. Which is a shame, cuz nothing sucks more than a beer hobbled by weak reviewers. Nice spicy & citrus flavour. Highly tweaked carbonation. And an interesting low-fi funkiness on the low end to make this interesting. Goes down great on a hot Sunday afternoon at the lake with exotica music & the cry of a loon in the distance. Recommended.

Bottle from BC craft beer sampler pack at the LCBO. Hazy sunset-orange with a ton of carbonation and a massive white head. Aroma is heavily phenolic, throwing off tons of overripe tropical fruit, a sharp spiciness, a strong medicinal note, and some peach blossom sweetness. Flavour comes across as more of a strong Belgian golden ale than a Saison, with lots of fruitiness, a drying yeast character, tongue-numbing spiciness/bitterness - and then, suddenly, unexpected but not unwelcome back notes of tart lemon and mild funkiness that linger in the finish. I honestly wonder if they didnít accidentally mislabel the Saison Brett and include it in the pack by mistake. Regardless of what itís called, itís a pretty fantastic beer.
