Brewed with aromatic Noble hops, finished with Pacific Northwest Cascade hops for notes of flower and spice, fermented hot for a fruity ester profile.

Part of the BC Craft Brewers Guild Natural Selections 6 pack (2014). Pours a cloudy golden-yellow colour with a big warm frothy cap, good retention and some foamy, almost creamy lacing. Belgian ale yeast aromas with light grass and some spices. A nice grassiness in the taste from the hops, creating a soft dry mouthfeel. Fruity flavours from the malts and yeast. Orange notes with mild tart lingering. Not your typical Canadian brew and pretty close to the Belgian ones.

bottle. Poured clear gold with a large rocky white head, silky sediment at bottom of the bottle. Grassy aroma, spicy with a yeasty note. Medium-light body, sour/tart mouthfeel, warming finish. Fruity apricot flavour with floral hops, belgian yeast note, slightly spicy, dry finish.

Hazy straw pour puffy white head. Aroma has floral notes with citrus, cracked pepper and yeast. Lots of fruity esters - banana, Pear, finishes with a slight yeast funk and dry with a noble hop presence.

Bottle. Hazy amber, white lace. Dry spicy nose, herbal hop play. Medium body, mellow mouthfeel. Fruity base (oranges, pears), dry spices (ginger, allspice). really pleasant.

Hazy golden pour with a thick white head. The nose is earthy and a little bit dank. Has a soft spiciness and a touch of floral character. Fruity peach and apricot along with a bit of woody character. Has a little bit of toasted malt along with a soft sweetness. There is a little bit of tartness that lends it a refreshing quality but it’s got a sort of muted fruit flavour that I don’t care for terribly.

Hazy gold with a thick creamy yellow slowly diminishing head with nice lacing. Smells of soft citrus, Belgian yeast, coriander, pepper, orange, and pumpkin. Sweet fruity taste with nice biscuit, pepper and citrus hops with nice woody straw notes. Dry on the finish. Medium carbonation. Nice and refreshing but a little too peppery. Nice spice with some metallic notes. Still decent

330ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden hue with a one finger off white head. Aromas of dried lemon peel, Belgian yeast, damp concrete, black pepper, and light orange notes. Oddly sour up front with metallic hops, citrusy notes and light damp concrete that leads into more metallic bitterness, light green vegetable, heavy mineral notes, and woody/straw notes. Pretty harsh for a saison. There’s a serious flavour clash going on with the sour, citrus, metallic notes. Overall, a bit of a mess that I resorted to chugging.

Bottle (330 ml). Extra from Damon, thanks! Clear golden with a medium slowly diminishing white head and little lacing. Aroma is moderately spicy/peppery with fruity notes, yeast and citrus presence. Taste is also moderately spicy and peppery with fruits, citrus, biscuity malt and hints of alcohol. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Moderately dry finish. Light lingering spiciness. Decent Saison. Tasty. A bit too spicy for my liking, but it’s still drinkable and not completely unbalanced.

One of the worst beers i ever drank. Don’t understand how people are scoring it so high, i think its just so they come off looking unique. In truth, this beer is absolute garbage. Sour taste that makes drinking sauerkraut pretty damn good in comparison.

Pours a pale hazed ale in the glass with a rich frothy white cap that lasts. Aroma is spicy, light biscuit tones, hoppy. Peppery mouth feel, very dry and refreshing. Flavor is sharp, bright, spicy-hoppy- clean dry finish - the epitome of the farmhouse ale genre - really drinkable and refreshing.
