We fell in love with American Amber Ale whilst on a road trip in Colorado. Using just enough Cascade and Palisade for an exciting flavour and aroma, it’s a balanced refreshing beer with toasty malt character.

A bit sweet and claggy this one, and doesn’t really go anywhere. A lingering after-taste that isn’t particularity pleasant, kind of toffee malt with a bitter metallic edge. Looks nice tho.

Can at home, bought at brewery. Very toasty, malty and sweet. Too few hops for me, that's why I like their red IPA better.

Aroma: Straw, dough, and malts.
Appearance: Deep, almost brown amber. Big honeycomb head.
Taste: It has a bitter, sour malt characteristic, that drowns out the other flavours. Has notes of coffee, and toast.
Palate: Quite bitter, and sour throughout. Medium body. Light carbonation.
Overall: Really disappointed with this one. Not the worst beer I’ve had, but not pleasant either.

Tap@gallows.amber. Malty, bit bready nose. Some fruits, sort of clean, but a bit weak, dull. Med bodied, caramels, breadyness, some earth. Dunno, unexciting, dull. Malty.

At the Belgrade-Serbia tasting on 31/10/2015. On tap at Samo Pivo pub in Belgrade-Serbia. Pours clear amber, medium and adhesive off-white foam. Nose: pan cakes syrup, caramel, some cinnamon. Mouth: watery, peppery Saaz feel, some hidden amber character. easy but lovely.

Slight citrus fruit, caramel & hay aromas. Pours amber (as it says on the tin) Nice clear appearance, Minimal frothy head. Lightly sweet to begin and ends in a medium bitter. light body, thin feel, average carbonation. Overall while not a bad ale there was just something not really ticking the boxes for me, I shall try more of FourPure’s ale without a doubt but not this one.

330ml can from Flavourly. Small creamy off white head, good lacing. Slightly hazy amber body. Not much on the nose, a little bread and straw. Flavour is grass, wood, sweet honey-caramel finish. Aftertaste doesn't linger. Mouthfeel is crisp,
