Keg & can; Regular. Has also been available in bottle.

We fell in love with American Amber Ale whilst on a road trip in Colorado. Using just enough Cascade and Palisade for an exciting flavour and aroma, it’s a balanced refreshing beer with toasty malt character.

A bit sweet and claggy this one, and doesn’t really go anywhere. A lingering after-taste that isn’t particularity pleasant, kind of toffee malt with a bitter metallic edge. Looks nice tho.

This is a darker orange ale with a 3 finger tight bubbles head enjoyed in a can but poured some in a glass. Thanks Leighton. Nose is like bread-dough, sweet pancake batter and christmas cookies. cinnamon and brown sugar nose. Taste is light, refreshing, nice yeast and bread dough taste. The spice is a turn off and it’s very sweet. Not a fan.

330 ml can, pours amber, light haze and a massive billowy white head. Lightly toasted bready malt, light grapefruit & orange citrus, grassy hop. Finish is dry and bitter. Carbonation is average. Apart from the head growng a bit too big, nothing wrong with this, nice US style amber ale with malt & hop presence and good balance.

Keg at The Grapes, Oxford. Clouded amber with white head. Sweet, toffee’d character, malty with a hint of toasted breadcrumb. Not a great deal of presence on the palate. Unfortunately a little dull.

Can. Beer Central, Sheffield. Stones Bitter was way better than this. At least it was when I was looking after it. But that was 25 years ago. Maybe most things were better back then?
