Can from Coppers 8 Til 8. Lovely fresh pine and grass aroma, transfers nicely into the flavour, with tasty orange notes, a flavoursome marmalade taste amd a good, dry finish, with woody/leaves characteristics. For 4.2% this is pretty good and could easily pass for a percent or so stronger.

Hazy gold beer, short bubbly white head, untidy. Palate is light and mildly crisp. Thin light malt. Hops are marmalade orange with a trace of lemon. Finishes dry and crisp with a citric peel bitter linger. Bit thin but fine.

Tap at CBC, Covent Tottenham Court Road. Pours a hazy amber with a slightly off white head. Aroma has wood, ash, dirt. Light to medium body, medium carbonation. Pretty woody, hints of piney woody resin, light caramel, light ash... Its OK, pretty dry and flavoursome.

330ml can at home. Pours an amber gold with slight head with some yeast floating around, mild aroma of cut grass and citrus fruits. Quite a bland taste with a sour lingering aftertaste. Not the best.

Keg at The Font, Chorlton. Hazy light amber shade. White head and some lacing. Very strong caramel backbone to it, belying the strength. Plenty of hop bitterness and berry fruit flavours on the tongue. I think I’d welcome a wider range of hop notes but this is mighty impressive for a lower strength IPA.
