The transatlantic influence of American brewing inspired us to make a clean and sessionable IPA style beer. We’ve used East Coast attitude to deliver a powerful aroma of Crystal and Cascade hops. IBU: 40 EBC: 10

Pale straw, brief head settles to Light fruity hop aroma, a bit citrussy. Bland watery taste, soapy hops. Watery palate, a bit fizzy. Very naff pale ale, only actual flavour (the soap) wasn’t pleasant.

Can. Pours hazy light gold. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruit with a touch of hay and grass. Moderate bitter taste with some fruitiness. A bit of a thin mouthfeel lets it down but overall decent.

Can from local M&S. Pours quite hazy. A darker shade of pale. Nice airy head and some good lacing in the glass. Resinous aroma. Soft pineapple. Dankness. Lemonade in taste first. Quite creamy. Dry, biscuity malting. Medium to more than medium bittering. Long, drying finish. Medium to light carbonation and a bigger body than I expected. Maybe a tad bitter to session for me but a lovely beer all the same

Rated la 27.02.2016.

can from local market. Yellow light gold, sway hazy. Citrussy, pretty nice slight hay strawwy nose, green berries, green pine leafy, sweet tangerenes. Light bodied, bitter, pale malty, bit thin. Pretty well hopped though, aroma-wise. Lots of hop flavour, malts not so much. But thats pretty expected from one of these.

Keg tap at Butch Annie’s, Cambridge. Golden, clear. Massive but quickly dissipating head. Scent of papaya, pineapple, buttered toast. Taste is firmly bitter although sweet fruity edges are allowed to sneak out. Muted resinous finish. Palate is a bit of a letdown: weak body and not enough carbonation for my liking. Tasty but certainly doesn’t blow me away.

33 cl, canned. BB 10 JUN 2016. Pours hazy light amber with a decent white head. Aroma: Fruits, pine. Taste: Medium sweet, more pine, some malts. Fruitiness somewhat disappears. Spruces. Pleasant notable bitterness. Palate: Medium-light body, thin, notable bitterness helps. Average carbonation. Not bad, lacks partially flavour, hoppy bitter brew.
