The transatlantic influence of American brewing inspired us to make a clean and sessionable IPA style beer. We’ve used East Coast attitude to deliver a powerful aroma of Crystal and Cascade hops. IBU: 40 EBC: 10

330ml can. Minimally cloudy, orangey dark golden to amber colour with average to huge, frothy to macro-pored, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Cautious herbal and piney hop aroma, a woody touch of pineapple. Taste is piney hoppy, a touch of pineapple, very subtle caramel malty sweetness. Exactly what it wants to be: a weaker, reduced, still flavourfull IPA.

Can from Bier Huis, Ossett. Hazy amber. Blousy, off white head. Nice, sweet malt, with plenty of grapefruit, and tropical fruit. Taste is medium bitter, with a mineral dryness. Palate is bigger than the 4.2%. Lingering, citric bitterness at the end. Mighty fine.

330 ml can. Pours a hazy copper colour with a small foamy head. Aroma of bread, citrus and resin. Flavour of bready malts, some nuttiness, citrusy hops and some graininess. Gooseberries too. Light bodied and a bit thin mouthfeel. Could be a premium bitter just as well as this is quite British in it’s heavy maltiness.

Can from Coppers 8 Til 8. Lovely fresh pine and grass aroma, transfers nicely into the flavour, with tasty orange notes, a flavoursome marmalade taste amd a good, dry finish, with woody/leaves characteristics. For 4.2% this is pretty good and could easily pass for a percent or so stronger.
