The transatlantic influence of American brewing inspired us to make a clean and sessionable IPA style beer. We’ve used East Coast attitude to deliver a powerful aroma of Crystal and Cascade hops. IBU: 40 EBC: 10

Slightly sweet, pretty drinkable pale ale, nothing hugely notable but decent enough...

Can. Slightly hazy yellow with an earthy flavour and some hops, but not as many as anticipated. Quite a body of body considering its strength. Who would have thought that I would be recommending a canned IPA from a craft brewery bought at Marks and Spencer. But that is exactly what I am doing.

330ml Can from Marks & Spencer, Enniskillen (£1.90):
A terrible offering from Fourpure, where did it all go so wrong? There was no balance to this one, the pine and citrus hops were far too strong, & they managed to smother all but a tiny bit of sweetness right at the end; a really poor beer and not one I’ll be going back to again.

Cloudy orange with a foamy white head. Aroma of mango, papaya, grass and pine. Very intense, you can smell it even when the glass is arm distance away. Taste is a little lemon, some sour notes, bitter finish. Not what the aroma promised. Sessionable but not my choice.

Vestergaard (911) - Aarhus C, DENMARK - JUN 14, 2015
Tap at Fermentoren Aarhus. Pours an semi-clear golden with a medium sized, white head. Aroma is very light on the malty side, but got a lot of grassy hop resin to it. Taste is very weak and with a watery sweetness. Some hoppy bitterness saving it a bit though. Little too watery, although the ABV isn’t that low.
