Can from Bier Huis, Ossett. Hazy amber. Blousy, off white head. Nice, sweet malt, with plenty of grapefruit, and tropical fruit. Taste is medium bitter, with a mineral dryness. Palate is bigger than the 4.2%. Lingering, citric bitterness at the end. Mighty fine.

Can from Sourced Market at St Pancras, BB 03 Jan 2015, large sample, served in a tulip glass. Almost clear orange color, big frothy off-white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, lychee, gooseberry. Fresh hoppy deliciousness. Medium bitter in taste, citrussy. Slight dry grainy biscuity note. Soft carbonation, thin body. A bit dry on the palate, but very decent sessionable stuff.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JUL 28, 2014 Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours clear, orange-gold with a foamy white head. Bready malts in the nose with touches of orange citrus. Light to medium sweet with a simple, lightly doughy bready malt base, a but if orange meringue, very subtle pine bitterness. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with further bready, lightly toasted malts, semi-ripe citrus fruits. Tasty and very drinkable. (3.6)
Can at home in London - sourced from Kris Wines. Pours mostly clear, rich gold with a creamy, white head. Great aroma with nice grapefruit, some overarching citrus pith, dry bread, pine. Light sweet flavor with further grapefruit, restrained pine, some grainy bread, orange rind, pith, faint minerality. Light bodied with average carbonation. Crisp and clean to conclude, with continuing notes of pine, faint hop oils, dry bread, some toasted cereal, citrus rind, a bit of pithy grapefruit. Nicely balanced overall. Lingering piney, lightly grassy bitterness. A little bit of resin, too. Pretty solid. (3.7)

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Sourced Market (batch F0004).
Nose: citrus with some tropical notes.
Taste: good balance between malty sweetness and hops. Tasteful, but a little watery.
A very drinkable and tasteful session beer indeed, rather than "beer geek beer".

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Keg at The Font, Chorlton. Hazy light amber shade. White head and some lacing. Very strong caramel backbone to it, belying the strength. Plenty of hop bitterness and berry fruit flavours on the tongue. I think I’d welcome a wider range of hop notes but this is mighty impressive for a lower strength IPA.

Can from Coppers 8 Til 8. Lovely fresh pine and grass aroma, transfers nicely into the flavour, with tasty orange notes, a flavoursome marmalade taste amd a good, dry finish, with woody/leaves characteristics. For 4.2% this is pretty good and could easily pass for a percent or so stronger.
