A Sim rate (cask at St Albans BF): Very roasty coffee aroma that just keeps on giving. Nice. Appearance is a classic almost opaque with a tinge of red. It would be a 4 with some head and/or lacing. Similar flavour to the aroma... strong roasty hit at hte beginning with lasting coffee flavour and a dark chocolate finish. Tangy, almost grapey aftertaste.

pivnizub (7239) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - AUG 29, 2007
On graught at the Bow Bar Edinburgh: As black as coffee, small tanned layer, sticking to the glass; a bit of sweetish fruitiness in the roast-malty flavour; medium bodied, moderate to full bitter-sweet flavour; gets drier towards the fruity-malty finish; "roasted" aftertaste. Fine stuff.....
