Hey, cool. a red unexpected ale but its really kind of pale yellow from the looks. Free 6 oz sample at the Fox & Hound in North Pgh. Rather interesting, nice mild hop bite. Fun, some unexpected hay. Easy to enjoy, likable and not over the top. Qyuite interesting, glad to have had the chance to taste this. Different yet enjoyable. Good finish which is not too bitter yet bitter enough to let you know it is a little hoppy. Leaning away from pale lager fer sure.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 BelgianBeerGal (2224) - Dayton Area, Ohio, USA - FEB 15, 2012
Draft at the Fort Worth location. I suppose the only reason I chose this was because it was something on the list I had not tried before. It was better than all the macro lagers on tap but nothing great.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Mora2000 (2981) - Dallas, Texas, USA - SEP 25, 2011
Drank at the Fox and Hound in Lake Highlands. The beer pours a reddish color with a white head. The aroma is full of malt with some bread and toffee. The flavor is also heavy on the malt. I get a lot of toffee and caramel with a little bit of nuttyness and grass mixed in. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Fox and Hound is not known for having a good beer selection, but this beer is actually not too bad.

Pint on tap at Fox and Hound in Edison, NJ. Dark amber color, moderate head. Aroma is kind of yeasty/malty with some caramel sweetness. Taste is pretty flat with a little sweetness, no bite to it, not much character. Palate is smooth, no real aftertaste. Overall not terrible but nothing special at all. Didn’t know it was A-B when I was drinking it, but looking back it dosent surprise me.

Hints of caramel when swirled. Poured a dark amber/copper with a light tan head. Taste was of light hops, yet a little sweet with a light finish. Lighter on the palate. Overall, a decent amber, yet forgettable.

Tap. At a bar in KC. Poured a light amber color with no real head. Malts in the aroma along with bread and yeast. No real flavor. I knew this was an AB product as soon as I took a drink. Very thin and very very watery. Pour beer.
