2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
can - Pours hazy light yellow-green and has a crisp pear aroma. It tastes quite sweet, obviously with pears, and is kind of sugary. It’s light bodied and effervescent, refreshing but overly sweetened. Decent.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can poured into a shaker. Pours a murky off white with zero head. Aroma of pear hard candies. Taste starts very sweet and ends medium tart. Pear, green apple and white wine. Light bodied with a sticky texture. Fizzy carbonation and a very long finish. Overall, not bad. Much better than I was expecting actually.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Half liter can for 129 cents - pours cloudy pale straw with lots of bubbles and vanishing white head. Nose is fruity. Sip introduces pear and champagne qualities. Sweet and cloying. A little tart on the finish. A nice change of pace after recovering from a rare hangover (west sixth IPA should not be sold in any glass larger than a pint size). The wife says this is way too sweet (I can’t believe she even tried it). Bibit in tabernus.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500 ml can.
Medium-light body is about right for a cider; very dry finish. Smells more like canned pears than fresh ones. Good sweet/tart balance with a lightly tart finish.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
16 oz can to pint. Looks solid; a slightly cloudy light pear flesh color with thin white lacing that dissipates quickly. Smells and tastes of pear and light citrus. Nice on the palate with a semi-dry finish. A solid Perry.

Hazy light yellow. Tastes like what it is, fermented and carbonated pears. Quite refreshing.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
500ml can. Mostly hazy more pale yellow color. Pours with a bubbly white head that quickly fizzes away to nothing. Medium body. Kind of soft, moderate strength carbonation. Lightly sticky texture. Pretty sweet taste. Flavor is pear, with some peel and spice, plus sugar. Alright pear cider

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A bit fizzier than the best English perries, and some won’t like the sweetness, but it’s still a good Perry that is very reasonable in the world of ciders that are available in the US. Smooth. Something that does work at colder temperatures, unlike many (quality) beers, if you want something for a hot day.
