A bit fizzier than the best English perries, and some won’t like the sweetness, but it’s still a good Perry that is very reasonable in the world of ciders that are available in the US. Smooth. Something that does work at colder temperatures, unlike many (quality) beers, if you want something for a hot day.

Can from the pig! Pours an odd cloudy yellow white with a light almost greenish hue. No head, minimal carbonation visible. Nose is mineraly, white wine, white grape, pear, apple, spritz. Flavor is strange too; maybe perry is just not my thing. Heavier mouthfeel than id like with some light boozy vinous white wine minerally notes. Not really refreshing to this guy. Flabby, light sour green apple, lemon in the fairly dry finish.

Tampa, Fl. - Total Wine - 16 oz tall boy can. Pours a murky light golden, no head or bubble action. Aroma of artificial pear flavor found in candies. Flavor has some natural pear essence, some sourness and a bit of golden delicious apple. Nice spritz in the mouthfeel. Refreshing.

Tall Can:
Pours very pale yellow with a white head that is a squick and violent as alka-seltzer.
Over-ripe pear scent.
Taste is highly fizzy pear juice,,,,tart and sugary.
Just simply way too sweet and synthetic.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ChainGangGuy (4122) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - DEC 8, 2012
16.9 ounce can - $2.49 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a lightly hazed, very washed out pale yellow body. No real head formation beyond a few accumulative bubbles from the pour.
Smell: A whiff of pears, of the added malic acid, and, well, little else.
Taste: Sweetish, modestly tart taste of pear with quality like an sparkling white Italian wine, though not nearly as effervescent. A zip of malic acid.
Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation.
Overall: Not the most authentic or enjoyable pear-based brew, but, as just a little, zippy beverage, it’s okay.
