Not my style of beer. Not much of a cidar drinker. Needs a more robust flavor for my palet

Bottle - Pours hazy honey brown with no head at all. Smells fantastic--cloves, allspice and cinnamon. Smells like pumpkin pie, but with sweet apples in place of the pumpkin. Taste is roughly the same. Apples are sweet, with skins and all--same baking spices. Not carbonated at all, but the finish ends a little abrupt. Really good stuff.

Similar in aroma to a winter ale with spices substituting the ale for apples. The flavor is pretty much apple pie in bottle. I now get why it recommends to drink warm, good on its own but something that needs not to be cold to fully appreciated.

Served quite warm. Very cloudy amber-orange, no head. Aroma of overripe apples, molasses and Christmas spice. Tastes somewhat similar with past prime apples, brown sugar, clove, nutmeg, allspice and just a touch of cinnamon. Then I added the cinnamon stick as suggested, and the cinnamon became a little stronger (improvement). The cider also started bubbling at that point improving the appearance. The cider is flat (as intended) and warming, both literally and from the alcohol. Don’t really know how to compare this to other ciders. This would be good on Christmas Eve.

A really cloudy amber. It smells of cinnamon and clove. There is nice fresh apple scent. The taste is clove with fresh apple juice. There is a nice finsih with a hint of spice.

Sampled warm with batten and friends. Pours a a murky dull brown with no head. Kinda looks like muddy water. Very boozy, but I think that’s from the heat and not from the 6%. Lots of cinnamon and nutmeg and allspice. Unique, and tasty. Couldn’t do more than one mug, but good for a change of pace.

Dullish, hazy dark golden, no head. Aroma is rather muted. Hints of spice, cinnamon, clove, light apple. Flavor taste just like mulled cider, hard to imagine it’s 6.9%. Sticky mouthfeel. Probably not for all, but i dig it.

Bottle: The aroma consists of of nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, and apples. It pours a brownish-orange with virtually no head. The flavor starts with lots of apple, mostly sweet, but lightly tart. The finish has lots of cinnamon and faint nutmecarbonatio-full bodied with minimal carbonation.

The pour is a slightly clouded amber color with no head to speak of and minimal carbonation. Smells heavily spiced with lots of cinnamon, orange peel, all spice, and nutmeg. Slightly tart green apple notes round it out. The flavor has a definite tartness to it, with a moderate level of spice flavor. Slightly warm, though moderate alcohol content, with a somewhat minimal carbonation.
