Draft. A light golden perry with no head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of pears. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of fruits and berries as well as notes of berries, leading to a dry finish.

From tap at Pizza Port Solana Beach. Pours clear and pale greenish yellow with a fully diminished head. Citric pear aroma. Flavour is clean and crisp sweet pears with a nice lingering acidic/citric flavour into the finish. Ends quite fruity and citric. Nice, although I guess the heat at this place helped me enjoy this one more than I would have done anywhere else.

Draft @ The Bistro, Hayward, CA. Pours a pale slighlty greensih color with no head. Has a sweetish pear aroma. Fruity sweetish pear flavor with some citric hints. Crisp fruity pear finish.

( 12oz bottle ) Pours a clear pale yellow body with a spare white head. Aroma of apple, pear, earth, and light soap. Flavor of pear and apple.

Bottle. The aroma is pear, much like sniffing a ripe bartlett. The color is water lightly tinged with gold. No head. Some tiny bubbles. Thin to medium bodied. Spritzy carbonation. The flavor starts with ripe pear, finishes with a slight sour like pear or apple skin. Quite clean, and very refreshing.

Bottle… Pours nearly clear with only a trace of straw color to it and a small, fizzy, white head. The aroma is just a tad spicy – hints of clove and nutmeg – and I’m picking up plenty of pear. Full-bodied and oily with lively carbonation. The flavor is medium sweet and fruity with a whisper of acidity. Short, crisp, clean finish. I could drink a lot of this.

On tap @ The Bistro poured a clear yellow with a small disapating white head. Aromas of pear and a hint of vanilla. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of pear, light apple and a hint of vanilla with a crisp lightly sweet finish.

12oz bottle. Poured a light a clear yellow color with almost no head. Wow, talk about a fresh pear aroma. Some light apples in the background, but this one was all pears. Tastes of pears and apples. I really don’t like pears or ciders for that matter, but I liked this one.

Bottle stamped 2009. Pours a clear, pale gold with no head. Aroma is sweet and spritzy with pear and what reminds me of Clearly Canadian’s soda lineup. Taste seems like artificial pear, soda and sweetners. Very light bubbles, dry and thin. Very sweet and sticky.

Light gold pour. Not much head. Crisp and sweet pears in the aroma and flavor. Very refreshing and very easy to drink. Very good for the style.
