As Red Knocker, on gravity at The Peninsular Shed, Wroxham. Pours with a fluffy though disappearing beige head atop a clear, dark amber body. Toasty, caramel malts with some orangey mid fruits on the nose. Orange, some more caramel and a light, moderately dry toasty bitterness. Light to medium body, light carbonation on the tongue with a crisp, short bitter finish.

(Cask at Wenlock Arms, London, 8 Aug 2009) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with notes of dark bread and dark fruit. A bit closed. Malty, nutty taste with dried fruit and some dusty hops in the finish. Slightly below medium body, fairly dry. Decent but hardly exciting.

Cask at Wenlock Arms. Amber with a small off-white head. Strong apple peel aroma keeping toffee malt in the background. Fruity and somewhat dry flavour with apple notes, and wooden hops in the finish.

Bottled at Monks cafe, Stockholm. pours out in a hazy orange amber colour with a rich eruptive white foam, almost a gusher. Dry, fruity, fresh and hoppy aroma of fudge, apricots, red berries, crackers, flowers and dust. Light-bodied with notes of almonds, grass, mocha, dust and dark berries. Lively and graiy mouthfeel. Medium-bitter finish of dust, lemon-zest and orange-peels.
