Cask (gravity dispense), Reading Beer Festival, April 2006. Deep reddish brown colour - not the darkest mild I’ve seen. A quite light bodied mild, with modest toasty malt and a nutty undertone. Decent but nothing out of the ordinary.

maeib (6637) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2006
Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Reading BF. A very dark brown coloured mild with a thin indistinguished aroma. The taste is a little eggy with a tiny amount of smokiness, but otherwise disappointingly dull.

Joeh (2036) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2006
Cask Conditioned at Reading BF 2006. Softly flavoured, thin malt and some chocolate. A boring example of the style.

Cask @ Reading 06: Choc malt dominats the nose, along with some roast. Dark brown in colour. Simple but really tasty.

Gravity at Reading beer festival 2006. Brown. A bit weak and watery, but a generally sound, light, biscuity/choc base.
