4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20Dark color but not completly black. At the nose we can smell the fruity of a ABT style beer but when you taste it, it goes more in the direction of a porter because of the roasted malt. Very good beer!

on tap at quebec city beerfest. starts off bad when you have a beer name confusing ppl... but it is way more an ABT than a porter. hazy dark brown with a small beige head, some retention. aromas of spices, belgium yeast, dark malts, maple and maple smokiness. taste is a tad sweet, like sweet licorice. soft to average carbonation, medium to full body. should’ve had align their first two brews to this one, not style-wise but quality-wise...
