Bottle during a social event. Pours a clear golden with a thin white head that leaves good lacing. Nose is of pilsener malt and herbs but more on the cereal side than anything. Taste is more crackery malt, dry and moderately bitter. Body is medium, carbonation medium-high and texture oily. A fine option I must say!

Bottle (341 ml). Slightly hazy bright golden with a medium fully lasting white head and good lacing. Aroma is of Welch grape juice (Fred82 is right), pils malt, herbal notes and vegetables. Taste isn’t much better with Welch grape juice, corn, vegetables, herbal notes and light citrus. Medium body. Soft carbonation. Sticky unpleasant finish. Outside of the appearance, there’s nothing good in that beer. Looking at the ratings, the tap version seems to be much better, but this one is really undrinkable. Drain pour. I have no clue if it’s a freshness problem, but the bottle was bought last week and there’s no bottling date (is it that hard to stamp a date on the label?) on the bottle so there’s no way I will revisit.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice blonde...local micro brew. Nice taste on palate and slight bitterness. Good hop taste to it. Gracious Pilsner.

341 ml bottle. Pours a clear straw with a short lived white head. Aroma is fresh grains and herbs. Flavor is grains, pils malt, cereals. A touch of herbal hops in the finish. Some lingering barley candy flavor. Medium body, soft mouthfeel, weak carbonation.

My Bottom Line:
Well-outlined pils malts lift this Pilsener’s generous noble hop bouquet for an elegant and beautifully polished pint.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veritable shrine of foam thrones atop the superb golden translucence. This is one beautiful shade of gold too.
-The mouthfeel is slender, bubbly and quenching.
-The bitter finish is moderate and engaging.
-The clarity with which each flavor is expressed itself is astounding.
-I had rated this before but felt like a completely new rating was justifiable. They are now using Weyermann Pils malts (gorgeously so, if I may add) and every aspect of the beer seemed to have been worked on since the first batches. I don’t know how it fares in bottles, but this super fresh tap version at the brewery was divine.

On tap at the brewery tasting room.
