Bottle. Pours a light gold with a very thin head -- leaves considerable lace, though. Nose is apple-y and fruity with a touch of caramel and a bit of adjunct aroma. More malic notes on the tongue, with some malty richness and brown sugar. Long and smooth finish. Good example of the style.

Clear pale yellow beer under aery white head, bit more stable than the Club beer, bit adhesive as well. Aroma: sulfur, methane, some hops, hint of sewer. Pretty nasty. Taste: malts and bitter hops, better than the Club. Some citric hop hints. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, but also a nasty sulfur touch. Long lasting bitterness.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 GT2 (3425) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 5, 2011
650mL found at Metro grocery store in Lima, Peru in Miraflores: Calle Schell and Calle Larco. The label claims this has a certificate of approval for fine ingredients and beer making from the Weihenstephan in Germany.
The pour is a clear yellow to light gold. Suddy white head leaves small lacing. Low carbonation. Nose is mildly hoppy with small English hop profile with small spices and lemon. Has more of a helles lager nose. Lemon and dough. Taste is a big improvement over typical Peruvian macros. Here there is some hoppy bitterness with lager "sting". Pretty refreshing. Big take home message here is that this may be the only Peruvian beer with noticeable hoppiness. Worth seeking out. Someone may want to switch this over to premium lager or even Helles Lager.

Pours yellow with an attractive off-white head and a cheap lager aroma. There is a thin pale malt flavor with slight hop bitterness. Not much to write about.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 bhensonb (7131) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 11, 2011
Bottle from a surplus outlet in Roseville, CA. Bears date of 03/24/10. Pours gold with a creamy 3 finger white head. Light herbal hop aroma. Med body. Flavor is lightly bready with some lightly spicy/herbal hop. Decent finish. Better by far than many. The hop even builds up a bit. It’s actually a bit bitter. :)
