Bottle at zekes. Gold. Stable white head. Fizzy with lots of rising bubbles. Aroma is sticky sweet corn flakes sitting overnight. Corn syrup plus salt. Stickiness in palate. Haven't had a swill in a while this is a palate shocker. Very sweet!

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Another day, another lager. Pours with a clear golden color, decent white head which settles down quickly. Aroma is basically grains throughout - nothing special. Sweet start is followed by grains in the body. The end is bitter, but only just - needs some more.
Not a bad one, but nothing to remember it by. An OK beer to freshen you up.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This sample was brewed in 2009 and the best-by date was May 12, 2010. France has a medium, white head, a mostly clear, golden appearance, some bubbles, a large number of roiling white (and some tan) particles, and heavy lacing left behind. The aroma is of overly-aged barley malt, funky sweetness, slightly turned fruit, and syrupy sugar. Taste is of those same things, especially the syrupy sugar, with a mild hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Franca finishes dry, refreshing, and easy drinking. Taking into account the old age of this sample, I still think it’s very good, and I would like to try a fresh bottle. RJT

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Thanks to ericandersnavy for sharing this bottle. Yellow with a white head. The aroma is full of grain and a ton of skunkiness. The flavor is unfortunately the same with a lot of skunked character. Light mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
UPDATED: JUL 12, 2013 This beer has a slightly off-putting aroma due to how reminiscent of apple juice it is with the light sweet and sourness of fruit, but the appearance is a clear golden color with a small white head that fades quickly. The taste is quite sour and mildly sweet, and the palate combines a thin body, light texture, average carbonation, and an abrupt finish.
