Bottle at Mum and Dads, 25/12/14, from Dundalk Tossco. Lightly hazed golden with a decent off white covering that soon collapses to a swirl. Cloudy papaya colour. Smells like a sugary, banana-accented weizen. Sweetish taste. Nice banana accent. A balanced, sweetish weizen with a slight bit of hop in the finish.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours a hazy orange-gold color with a medium fluffy white head that dissipates slowly to a film. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of yeast, citrus and malt. Light body with flavors of banana, malt and wheat. The finish is sweet with a fruity yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.

2009-05-20. Dark yellow with a moderate white head and lace. Aroma of lightly spiced yeast, sweet undertones of wheat and grains. (6+) Flavour is similar, light spice throughout, mild yeast and light bitterness that lingers in the aftertaste after sweet wheat and grains in the finish. Average palate. Rather pleasant. Bottle from Tesco, Milton Keynes, consumed at home Monday 26th May 2014 Pours hazy light amber with white filmy head, overipe banana on nose. Taste is really quite convincing, little bit sweet maybe but plenty of banana more of this than clove. Nice, refreshing, I have served this a little too cold to pick out everything but its good. Wheaty with a little sweet clementine, good. A7 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.5

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours hazy orange, no head. Light sweet aromas. Yate brings the expected banana and light spice. Bit dull though, to be honest.

Draft @ O’Neills, Dublin.
