Had this at the brewery, fairly decent. Gold and hazy with a large head. Soft fruity wheat flavours, bananas especially. Very refreshing but not exactly challanging. Probably the best beer the brewery does.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Keg at Franciscan Well. Pours a cloudy golden with a lasting white head. Clove heavy spicy aroma. Strong sweetness with light sourness and light bitterness - a lot of clove, banana and lactic acid in the flavour. Tart clove sweet aftertaste with a full body and reasonably lively carbonation. Not a huge Hefeweizen fan, but this is pretty solid.

Had a pint of this at Ginger Man pub in Dublin on St. Patrickís Day-I have been searching around for this beer and was happy to find it.
Served in a stein with a very small head upon pouring. The color was a nice hazy copper and the smell was great-wheat beer smell with some fruitiness to it.
Tasted great and went down smooth. There is a hint of spice (maybe cardamom?) with a bit of taste of almost banana with the wheat taste-a great combination I felt. Not too strong and something that I could drink a couple more pints of in a session.
I look forward to trying it in Cork, hopefully at the brewery, and maybe bringing back a bottle or two if possible.
