A medium - bodied English - Style Bitter. The finest quality Maris Otter malt supplies its distinctly crackery, malty flavour, while delicate East Kent Goulding hops round it out with sweet and earthy tones.

The head is stable, the body gold-brown. It smells hoppy, interesting, fruity, light body, fruity. The taste is hoppy, fruity-bitter, less malty, less bodied. Tasty stuff! 12/12/12/11/-/12

Draught at the brewpub. Pours a clear golden, with an average white head. Aroma is more or less nothing - very faint malt and bitters. Taste is a very light maltiness with a very light hop bitterness. Only just about has any taste at all. Very smooth beer, but leaves no aftertaste on the palate. I have to think this beer would be way better off to be served on cask, rather than draught, which seems to completely take the edge off it. Very, very disappointing, I must say.

A pleasant bitter in the style of London pride. The cask is excellent but the keg is not as good.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear orange color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of pale malts and hops. Light body with flavors of malt, hops and toffee. The the finish is malty with a touch of grassy hops on the back end. Decent overall.
