Light head. Light and easy drinking. Good malt character. Bit of hop bite at the finish. Very nice overall and good for a session.

Nose is corn, weak yeast, bittersweet malt and set mediumbitter hops, feel is medium, carb is mediumheavy, taste follows nose with saaz bitterness in the end

Draft @ Bull and Castle, Dublin.

Golden colour. The aroma has some pedio and maybe some straw notes. Mostly straw taste, mild bitterness. A bit fizzy in the finish.

Draft @ brewpub. Clear golden with not much head. Aroma is a touch funky, moldy maybe? skunky? and yet not so offensive...soft palate with sweet malts predominating. Mushroomy and a bit sticky. The flavors are ok, bland but perfectly drinkable at first and then gets worse by the sip.

Draught at Bull & Castle, Dublin. Clear pale golden, small head. Fruity and grassy, sweet and light bodied with clean mouthfeel. Some salt, plenty of boiled vegetables. Slight bitterness. Fairly unpleasant macr-lager-like brew.

Had this so long ago I can’t really remember the details. Did not look the best. Was pale and without head. However, it was tasty enough. Will be back soon for a proper review.

Draught. Bull & Castle, Dublin Pale straw body, white foam. Hint of floral hop spice on the nose. Lean body, quite high carbonation, clean texture. Some pale malt sweetness on the body, floral hop herbaceousness lingers on quite a good bitter finish. Not a bad pils.

Braudog (4607) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - SEP 19, 2009
Draft pint at the brewpub. Very light color and very active. Tornadic even. Bright white foam head. Extremely bright and lightly corny, very well emulating the more charcterless euro lagers. Well made but not for me. (#3664, 9/13/2009)
