Creedence (282) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 4, 2013
Draught at brewpub. Pours a yellow gold colour with a foamy head. Aroma is of an oxidised beer - some grassy and lemony notes, but a good whack of vinegar in there too. Taste is light sweetness, and light bitterness with, again, a whack of vinegary sourness. Tart and sour finish, quite fizzy. Poor lager from the Well, I hope this is just a bad batch, but I couldn’t be sure.

Keg at bull and castle
Pale green tinged blonde with lacing white head. Grassy nose with an undercurrent of peppery noble hop. Medium carbonation, sweet, grainy, touch of sour pineapple and custard cream. Fairly brief finish.

The head is medium, the body blond. It smells bitter, malty, a bit strange, pilsener malty. Not my favourite one of this good brewery. 11/7/8/7/-/7

Dogbrick (7243) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - NOV 22, 2012
Sample at the brewpub. Clear pale yellow-gold color with a medium ivory white head that recedes quickly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, malt and spice. Light body with flavors of grassy hops and grainy malt. The finish is short with a mildly bitter hops aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

At the source. Pours a translucent blonde with a small head. Has an interesting taste of character not like a lager... Not bad, but not what is expected in a lager.

Light head. Light and easy drinking. Good malt character. Bit of hop bite at the finish. Very nice overall and good for a session.

Nose is corn, weak yeast, bittersweet malt and set mediumbitter hops, feel is medium, carb is mediumheavy, taste follows nose with saaz bitterness in the end

Draft @ Bull and Castle, Dublin.

Golden colour. The aroma has some pedio and maybe some straw notes. Mostly straw taste, mild bitterness. A bit fizzy in the finish.
