Light head. Light and easy drinking. Good malt character. Bit of hop bite at the finish. Very nice overall and good for a session.

At the source. Pours a translucent blonde with a small head. Has an interesting taste of character not like a lager... Not bad, but not what is expected in a lager.

Draft at Bull and Cork, Dublin. The pour was golden-amber type color with some carbonation, a weak initial head, weak lacing. The aroma was light grainy malts and grass. The flavor was light malts, some grainy and bready aspects, immediately followed by an unexpected grassy hoppiness, light-pilsner like, somewhat of the Munich lager style here, more than a pale lager going on for sure. Not bad, yet not that fancy or exciting in the big world of beer.

Draft. A golden beer with a huge white head. The aroma has notes of grainy malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and grain, leading to a bitter finish, where the straw note lingers. The body is a bit light.

Draft pint at the brewpub. Very light color and very active. Tornadic even. Bright white foam head. Extremely bright and lightly corny, very well emulating the more charcterless euro lagers. Well made but not for me. (#3664, 9/13/2009)

2009-05-20. Crisp yellow body with a small white head. Flavour has pleasant moderate hops throughout, floral noble hops, light hoppy bitterness with just a touch of grassy notes. (6+) Aroma is mild to moderate, pleasant mild floral hops. (6+) Average to light bodied. Bit mild/light but pleasant, quaffable. On tap at Franciscan Well, Cork

Sample at the brewpub. Clear pale yellow-gold color with a medium ivory white head that recedes quickly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, malt and spice. Light body with flavors of grassy hops and grainy malt. The finish is short with a mildly bitter hops aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

UPDATED: MAY 2, 2008 Clear yellow with a foamy white head. Fairly sweet grassy aroma. Biscuit malt flavour, virtually no bitterness and very sweet. I know this mightn’t sound nice but I liked this.
