Appearance: Clear ruby with thin ivory head which was quick to disappear. Aroma: Floral, note of dried fig but very subtle, fruity, biscuit, note of syrup. Taste: Low/medium sweetness and sourness with low bitterness. Palate: Thick coarse texture and light body, average carbonation, astringent lingering fruity floral raisin finish. Comments: Tasty.

A really good Irish red, caramel, hint of vine fruits, pleasant aftertaste. A good session beer and much better than mainstream beers in Ireland. Had at the brewery in Cork.
