Geruch nach biscuit malz und herbem Hopfen. Geschmack leicht wässrig, aber ausgewogen. Sehr Lecker, leicht buttrig im Nachgeschmack.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
draught pint at Courtneys in Killarney. Pours reddish-brown with white head. Nothing much from the aroma - probably too cold from the tap. Taste - caramel, and malt. medium mouthfeel - not too carbonated. Good version of the irish red

Good example of an irish red ale. Loads of cream I’m the texture and lots of biscuit and red fruit in the beginning and end.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Tesco, consumed at home. Reddish-brown, not a lot of head or lacing. Smells of cheap cherry cola, chestnut, candy sugar. Taste is sweet like forest fruit and caramel. Short finish. Decent body and mouthfeel. Not particularly exciting.

bottle from Tesco Honiton. Chestnut-brown colour, small off-white head. Some dark malts, roasty flavours, with a grainy touch and hints of berries.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
This was an English pint at Oil Can Harry’s pub in central Dublin, Ireland. There is nothing quite like a draft beer for freshness. In the glass it was a reddish amber with a white head and very sticky lacing on the glass. Nose is floral hops with ripe fruit. Medium in body with a very smooth abd creamy mouthfeel. The flavor is rich and the hops and malts are in good balance. and the finish is lightly bitter. Very nice beer and is so smooth in the mouth it seems almost like it came from a cash, not a keg.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Redish brown colour, delightfully drinkable and best drank directly from tap at the Franciscan Well. If you are ever in Cork this is a great place to enjoy a whole wide range of interesting beers. Summary of Rebel Red Ale: A beer that while it has a craft beer nature seems refined enough as if it has a century of tradition.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
At a tasting, small stable creamy head, quite clear dark red colour, malty caramel aroma with some barnyard notes, fruity caramel flavour, light to medium strong herbal bitterness. Nice and satisfying.
