Cask at GBBF 08. Deep amber colouration. Sugary, malty aroma which leads into a strong caramel flavour. Quite light given the strength. Not that impressive.

[2187-20090520] Tap. Weird vegetal sweet grains aroma has a random poo peat note. Clear, dark red amber body with a small long-lasting creamy off-white head. Toasted grain flavour has lots of wet paper notes and a very mild hint of chocolate. Medium body. Discontinuous aroma and flavour, odd.

Poured a murky medium amber with a disappearing tan froth. Aroma of sweet, zesty caramel malt. Medium body, flavour of sweet milk chocolate and moderate berry hints.

Thin offwhite head of fine bubbles with very good carbonation. Deep reddish brown in color. Light malty and grainy aroma with some cherry and roastyness. Mild grains in the flavor with bit more cherry and a soft dry malts. Pretty bland and generic but one would expect that from a irish ale. Decent. Puchased and drank in Clonmel, Ireland.
