The head is fantastic, the body black. It smells roasty, creamy, mild. The taste is a bit roasty, creamy, roasty-coffe, bit mild, could be more intensive. 15/10/11/11/-/11

Pours Jet Back with a standard Nitro Stout head. Slight coffee aroma. Slight coffee taste initially that develops into a beautify slightly sweet coffee flavour.
As good an Irish stout as there is.

3.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Black pour with a thick thick cream head. An aroma that can only be described as sweaty. Tastes wonderful though, some immediate hops on the palate and makes up for the smell with a clean, creamy aftertaste. Overall, very good stout.

Pint in the Oval, Cork City. Pours a deep black colour with an appetisingly thick white head. Lovely chocolate aroma, hints of coffee and caramel. Taste is nice and smoky with light sweetness. Full bodied and thick, nice lingering finish. Really great tasting traditional stout, almost as good as it gets.

Big flavour for nitro-stout. Dry roasted coffee aroma. Initial chocolate flavour fading to fairly intense burnt finish. Fuller body than you’d expect but still quite light. Very good
