draft at gingerman plano - new style for me; DAMN that was good - dark pour with ruby edges taste was malty sweet; very silky 4 on palate and call me crazy but there was a chalky chocolate flavor at end - had to ask if this was a bock or stout? actually seemed like a cross between the two. note to self: drink more Fanconia...

Brown and cloudy with a good head. Taste is very smooth with toasted malt and not much bitterness. I went back for more over this and it may be my fave Franconia brew.

Draft @ Gingerdude, Houston .. . Pours a dark molasses brown, light foam, very sparse lacing .. . light burnt caramel and wet bark in the nose .. . way below Franconia’s usually high achievements.. . onslow’s good in a crisis ..

On tap at the Holy Grail. Poured a clear, dark amber body topped with a lasting head leaving some lacing. Aromas of dark malts, plums/prunes and sweet concord grape juice. Flavors were medium sweetness (toffee), nutty. Short, dry finish. Medium mouthfeel with soft, active carbonation.

Dark brown amber tint. Nice off-white head. Dry, maple, sugary aroma. Nice carmel flavor. Deliciously bad. Thick texture and palate-coating feel. Nice fizzy finishimng bite.

Smells great. Caramel, brown sugar, some filet mignon. Tastes the same. Very warm. Very delicious. Great beer for the cold weather. Drink with s’mores.
