Franconia Wheat

(draught at Fillmore pub in Plano, tx) pours cloudy yellow orange with nice lasting creamy head. Nose of funky wheat and spices. Taste of dirty water, wheat, spices, overripe banana and a creamy finish that’s slightly dirty with more very ripe bananas.

On tap at Gingerman Fort Worth. Nice flavor and smell. Awkward mouthfeel in the back-side of my throat.

Tap at brewery.
Pours a cloudy, thick yellow with a healthy white head that lasts throughout the time spent drinking the beer. Aroma is trash water, pure and simple. Yuck. Flavor is slightly rank clover and ripe banana. Clean mouthfeel that leaves a slippery film of flavor on the tongue. Good beer, but the stink detracts.

Clouded orange pour. Wheat aroma and taste with lots of citrus notes. Quite a good wheat, probably the best thing to come out of Franconia yet.

Keg. In my kitchen. Thanks to Bman1113vr for picking it up. Aroma of banana esters, clove, vanilla, wheat. Nice aroma. Flavor is delicious hefe, bananas, wheat, vanilla. Nice creamy mouthfeel and good carbonation.

I had this beer at Bavarian Grill.. I love this beer! Yummy.. Nice head and great aroma and flavor.

On tap at trinity hall. Pours a hazy yellow color with a medium sized creamy white head. Nose is faint clove, coriander, banana creme brulee, and wheat. Taste is pretty much the same with notes of caramel as well as butter and a slight tart white vinegar like element. Moderate carbonation. No wow factor but actually kind of interesting.

this is my favorite from Frankonia brewery.Very, very good flavor for diehard weizen-bier lovers.
