Aroma has butter, some grassy hops, hints of honey, toffee and grain. Flavour has grassy hops, some mint, herbal notes, grainy malt and hints of butter. A solid helles with extra grassy hops.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Pale golden, a bit unclear, small whie - slowly collapsing - head, pale malty nose sith some hops underneath; mild sweetish-bitter flavour, pretty slim, but at least soft; slightly lingering grainy-bitter finish with a barely detectable hoppy aftertaste. O. K., but very weak by franconian standards…

Clear medium to dark yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, straw - grass, pale malt, light to moderate hoppy, grass - straw. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, grass - straw, pale malt, silage notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120915]

(swing top bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Grainy malty aroma with delicately herbal hoppy and subtle fruity notes. Moderately sweet and lightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Mildly grainy malt-character, perhaps with a tinge of cara-malt, backed by a delicately herbal hoppy touch; sweet-bitter finish with restrained hoppy notes. Profane but drinkable. 06.IX.12
