500 ml bottle. From bierzwerg.de.
Cloudy golden colour with small off-white head. Grainy, wheaty, yeasty and caramel sweet aroma. Flavour is quite simple with lots of grain and wheat. Some mild fruity and sweet caramel notes as well. I’m not charmed.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Hazy orangeish golden colour with a small white foamy head that leaves slight lace. Aroma is toffee, caramel, some mild fruity and wheaty notes as well. Flavour is rather similar in a nice balance. Quite nice wheatbeer, even though the wheat is not that noteable under the caramel and toffee. Quite pleasant palate. Long citrusy aftertaste.

Koelschtrinker (7060) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 16, 2011
Test vom 5.12.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,9,9,10,12,9 - 9,60

Bottled from Bierzwerg. Cloudy dark golden color with nice white head. Lemon, banana, grain in aroma. Taste, yeast, banana, toasted bread. Yeasty finish. Drinkable beer.

Schroppfy (2335) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - JAN 23, 2011
Great dense head! Fine banana aroma and along with a touch of usual acrid wheat (in a great way) the aroma here is great, but not complex. The flavor is a little one-sided; all wheat, bread, and some acidity, moderately sweet. Minor clove. The palate is very, very smooth, almost creamy. So all in all not a complex hefe, but very good/easy to drink and technically very nice in the aroma and palate departments. From Wine of Dreams, Warszawa, BB late April 2011.

A nice light banana aroma. Looks amazing orange cloudy. This hefe is great. Some banana, but not too much. A bit of wheat, but not so it’s undrinkable. Really a top-notch hefe, for this non-hefe fan, so take what you will from that.

TBone (9433) - Pori, FINLAND - SEP 3, 2010
Bottled (BZ, BB 10/2010)
Hazy/murky dark orange color, big off-white cloudy head. Aroma has sweet overriped banana, hints of vanilla. Crisp carbonation. Reasonably good body for being only 4.9%. Overriped banana and unclean yeastyness dominate the flavor. Light smokey feeling too. A bit odd.

Bottle: Hazy yellow colour with a medium creamy head. Aroma and taste of light yeast, wheat, citrous and fruits. A bit watery.

Bottle: Cloudy, pale yelloe color, creamy head. Wheaty, light yeasty aroma with hints of fruits. Flavor is also wheaty with notes of citrus. Quite boring.
