Dark amber color, small off white head that lasted for a nice amount of time.Nice malty hoppy aroma, just a light hint of lemon.Nice flavor of malt and hops again with a slightly herbal tone coming through as well. The fruity side that was in the aroma hasn’t shown up in the flavor. The after taste is herbal and hoppy with a nice mildly bitter finish. This is a nice brew that is easy to drink.

Soft but powerful aroma of rosewood, pleasant hop nose, soft malt. Very unusual aroma that is hard to describe .Clean and refreshing. Marvelous nose! Creamy lace, light malt, light brown. Bitter wood of dark forest, oily, creamy texture. True depth, bitterness will stay all the sipping process. Very nice alt. highly recommended.

Pours crystal clear deep amber with frothy white head. Very attractive toasty, nutty aroma along with the distinct German ale yeast nose. Initial palate is that of lightly roasted malt followed by a bittersweet hop/malt finish. Overall nicely balanced and quite refreshing.

Pours a brown with a white head. Aroma is a roasted malt and very nutty. Flavor is not there! How can a beer have such a great aroma have no taste? This is the first I have tried of this style im sure i’ll try others but I hope there better than this.
