A lot of bread and fruit in the taste and smell. I enjoyed this beer through and through although it’s definately not the best beer I’ve had. Good caramel notes in the flavor with a big hoppy bite at the end. Descent beer.

A unique, nice beer to drink. The head was fair, but colour was quite nice. Aroma and taste were both interesting and different from most other beers I’ve tried.

50cl bottle poured into an altbier glass. Pours clear amber brown with quickly diminishing two finger head. Nose is raspberries in the beginning. Once the head dissipates, the aroma nearly disappears completely. Flavor is earthy, wood-like, and sort of roasty. Palate is a bit fizzy yet still smooth. Finish is long and hoppy. This is my first altbier and I didn’t know what to expect. I thought it was going to be overly bitter. Although it is quite hoppy, I am pleasantly suprised by its drinkability.

The color is dark amber and the head is creamy and lasting. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of roasted malt, caramel, and the finish is dry with a touch of citrus.
