JoeinUccle (689), Brussels, Belgium May 5, 2008 Somewhat flabby Altbier with not much bitterness to recommend it. On tap at the Frankenheim pub in Dusseldorf. Poured a classic copper-brown with thin off-white head. Malty, sourdough nose. Flavor was lightly sweet, quite malty, going into a bready sourness, very thin layer of bitterness. Refreshing but I would have preferred a hoppier kick.
