Bottle, thanks pivnizub. Golden light grayish, low white head, big bubbles. One-note citric-grassy hops, grainy malt, dusty hayish and minerally notes which unfortunately have staying power - in a blind test I would have guessed alcohol free beer. Medium body, slightly sticky. Grainy finish.

Thanks to Roman for that one. Bottle looks very simple. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, good malty base, dry-hoppy notes. More and more moldy. Finish a bit soapy, still dry-malty. Okay, but nothing special.

Yellow color. Malty cereal grain and earthy vanilla aroma and taste with an almost tangy finish.

The head is ok, the body blond. It smells strange, hoppy, malty. The taste is mild, malty, strange, sweet. No thanks... 10/7/7/7/11/7

bottle, delivered by pivnizub! Clear golden yellow, mid-sized white head. Grainy, biscuity malt flavours, shy hops. How awkward - a blonde altbier.....

Bottle shared with McTapps. Bit sweetish and quaffy but aromas are missed.Something else than the other altbiers. Not more.

0.5l bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Clear and deep golden colour with low head. Medium body, nose of low malt. Taste of mild hops, young apples, chives and low malt. Finely carbonated, quite nice to drink and it might be quite refreshing in summer.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, effervescent golden coloured hue with a mid-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Delicately fruity and shy toasty malty aroma with notes of pears, sour dough and grassy hops. Mildly bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. slightly doughy and very discreetly toasted malty taste with subtle fruity and mildly grassy hoppy notes; moderately dry malty, slightly fruity and grassy hoppy finish. I have to admit that I had expected something worse. Still recognisable as an Alt but there are many better examples of the style. 6.I.13

Bottle: Golden, visible carbonation, no head, cooked vegetables in the delicate grainy-bready nose, molecular traces of citrussy hops almost n o t detectable; light sweetish flavour, light bodied but nevertheless a bit sticky; sweetish-grainy finish, no hops. A popular prejudice in Germany claims, that "blond" means "stupid" ("blond" = "blöd"). In the case of this new "Alt" it seems to be true. But, what can You expect from a brand in the hands of Warsteiner…
