3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle (labeled as American Blonde Ale)Ö Florida Craft Beer and Wing Fest 2012Ö Clear yellow ale with a mid-sized, fluffy, white head. Good retention. The aroma presents pale malt, honey malt and light graininess. Medium-bodied and mildly oily with tickling carbonation. Even at room temperature, this blonde ale has a nice, snappy hop character Ė even leans a hair toward the bitter side of balance. Short, crisp, clean finish. More reminiscent of an English blonde than an American or Canadian blonde.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very hazy golden coloured body with a rich honey glow, a thin one cenitmetre-tall off-white head and a thousand (literally) bubbles rising from the bottom of the glass - very nice. Aroma of malt, honey, curacao, light sugar and a bit of yeast in the mix too. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy hop note at first which is surprising and welcomed, a bit of a grassy herbal flavour next then all finished by a bit of malt, some light sugars and a touch of spice. Aftertaste is fairly mild by comparison with only a little bit of sugar and grassy note left. Overall, a very nice blonde, although this really isnít a blonde ale. Closer to a wit minus the coriander seed, but a very respectable beer. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Merchantís in Dearborn, Michigan on 28-April-2011 for US$1.79 sampled at home in Washington on 26-May-2011.

1.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 1/20
Bottle: The aroma consists of honey, orange peel, lemon, dusty notes, and a hint of grass. It pours a hazy orangish-gold with a three finger somewhat fizzy white head that diminishes rather quickly for itís size. The flavor starts with a touch of sweet honey before itís just about completely overtaken by funky sour lemon and a touch of orange peel. Light bodied with lively fizzy and prickly carbonation. Overall, I donít think itís a stretch to say this is infected...drain pour. Iím sure a fresh bottle or tap offering is much better, but people need to know bottles like this are sitting on shelves.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Golden yellow with one large ass foamy macroesque head that fades slowly. Aroma is grainy with toasted malt, mild grassy hops and not much else. Taste of pale malt, lemon, light honey, mild grassy/earthy hops and grains. A touch sour with a dry finish.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle poured into glass. Nothing super special happening with this beer. Itís easy drinking but not really a lot of flavor happening.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle - Pours clear golden yellow with a quickly dissipating white fluffy head. Nose is cane sugar and honey, on top of a lightly yeasty bready malt base. Maybe a hint of floral hopping. Taste is too sweet for my tastes, honey, cantaloupe, pale graininess. Herbal hopping on the finish is pretty faint. Nice smooth body thatís well carbonated. This goes down easy, but I couldnít session with all that sweetness.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
has a hazy orange-yellow pour with a one to two finger head of white bubbles that faded rather quickly, there is generous effervescence in the glass, momentary lacing on the sides of the glass that dries up quickly, I found a thin layer of light colored sediment on the bottom of the my bottle,
there were aromas of bread, some wheat nuances with faint grassy hops, there was faint sugar and lactose(?) sweetness, and faint citrus on the nose,
the flavors consisted of bready malt, mild orange & lemon like fruit with a little citrus, some malt and fruit sweetness,
finish has a little flavor afterwards with a carbonation bite and dryness on the palate,
mouth feel is thin and light, easy to drink, an ok beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Aroma has notes of lemon, citrus, cobwebs, and flowers. Dark yellow hue with a huge foamy white head that stuck around and left good lace. Flavor is medium sweet and lightly dry. Palate is light bodied, average carbonation and lightly dry. Good.
