On tap. Very dark brown that sits almost black in the glass with an average off-white head that left good lace. Aroma has notes of sweet roasted malts, peat and smoke. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Actually thought they did a half way decent job for the style. Still kind of weak though.

Tap sample. Poured clear brown color with medium off-white creamy head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Medium toasted malt aroma. Medium body with a dry smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium toasted sweet malt flavor with a medium sweet finish of short to moderate duration. Interesting soft brew.
