2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Pours a textbook IPA orange, so much so that when put side by side to a 2 hearted, they look identical. Aroma is hops, but not enough. Taste is mellow citrusy hops and slight soapy malt. Good mouthfeel. Overall best product from Frankenmuth, but wouldn’t actively seek.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz. bottle picked up in Toledo. Pours a clear orange golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have some citrus, light resiny character, toasted bread, flavor becomes just bitter with no real flavor profile, pass in the future.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
So.. I can?t smell cuz I have a cold. So I gave it a 7.... I dunno... It seemed like rounding up the provocative name would give this beer a little more of a fighting chance... Unfortunately for it that couldn?t really save it.... It?s citrusy but there?s like a TON of floaty yeast which seems inappropriate.... Couple that with I had this right after a two hearted and Yeah...

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Poured a cloudy, reddish gold. Minimal head that dissipated quickly. Soft carbonation. Intense citrus aroma. Fresh, slightly sweet, strong hop flavour. Strong, long bitter finish. Not and IPA fan, but this is very good.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy, golden orange with a one finger, white head that leaves a nice coating. Aroma has nice notes of citrus, resin, pine, grapefruit, and slight caramel. Taste is on the bitter side. Citrus, resin, pine, sweet caramel, and a long, bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation. Clean in the mouth with a dry finish. Overall good but could be better. Slightly too much bitter without enough flavour to match it. Citrus, pine, resin, and caramel.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Very hazy slightly orange pour. Soapy head. Smells like grapefruit. Has that IPA grapefruit tadte I despise. I’m sure it’s a good beer but not for me.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
pours unclear bright golden with a nice off-white head, some retention and lacing. sugary malts, plain sugars - barley, pine, tingling booze and pepper, muted citrus, some strawberry-like hops, some garbagy notes, fruitiness - sweet over-ripened if not rotten fruits. low carboantion, light body - oily and sticky, harsh grassy-spicy citrusy-piney finish. blah.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Hazy, bubbly, amber with a thin, off-white head.
Citrus aroma...pineapple, orange, mango.
Taste is pine bitter, caramel malt.
The citrus gets lost amidst the heavy, resiny bitter...decent hopping, but pretty much one note in taste....a pity as the aroma was quite good.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy amber to brown color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute and left a light lacing lingering around the sides of the glass.
The smell had a nice blend of sweet citrus hops to English malts rolling around underneath my nose.
The taste took the citrus and the malts and combined nicely.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. For an IPA, this one seemed a bit under carbonated and I didn’t get the usual harshness I expect in an IPA.
Overall, the smell, appearance and taste are ther, but the palate just doesn’t exactly feel right for an IPA. Did I have an old bottle? I’d only have again if I could guarantee a fresher bottle.
