Draft. Very floral bouquet that smells like a typical IPA. Taste is a more muted IPA but very flavorful with pine and citrus. Very tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy orange pour from bottle with white head. Good floral and citrus aroma. Taste leaves a lot to be desired. Falls flat. Dank and bitter. Not much good or bad about it

Bottle from Total Wine in Boca Raton, FL. Tulip. Pours a hazy orange-brown with thick white head. Decent lacing. Aroma is pine, resin, citrus and malts. Taste is not as complex as the aroma. Rather biting carbonation and not very well balanced between the bittering hops and the malts. I did like the floral notes with pine. Aftertaste is just a little skunky. Overall it was OK.

Bottle. Pours a textbook IPA orange, so much so that when put side by side to a 2 hearted, they look identical. Aroma is hops, but not enough. Taste is mellow citrusy hops and slight soapy malt. Good mouthfeel. Overall best product from Frankenmuth, but wouldn’t actively seek.

Appearance: A slightly hazy yellow color with a nice creamy head that lasts forever. Starts with a huge head that goes down to about a finger. Lacing is fantastic. Really good looking. Smell: Hard to explain. It’s definitely a burst of hops. The only way I can say it is "bright hops" in the aroma. There’s something I can’t put my finger on. It smells nice though. Flowers and spices, I suppose? Also a trace of the alcohol as well. Taste/feel: Much like the smell. Hoppy, floral tastes with a dash of spice. I actually really like it. It has a sort of "off" taste I suppose that I can’t pinpoint, but there’s definitely something about it that keeps it from being a stellar beer. I still like this one. The feel of it is very appropriate for an IPA -- medium, mildly carbonated. I was sort of surprised. The reviews had me thinking this would be a very average beer ... but it’s really not. It’s an above average IPA, with an interesting amount of floral character. Would very gladly have this one again. Nice job, Frankenmuth. More proof that Michigan beer is some of the best out there.

Pours copper with a white head. Aroma is citrus and some grains. Taste is light bitters. Does not stand out, thin mouthfeel with some stickyness.

Draft at Capones. Had a splash of this while waiting for my Sculpin. Poured a dull ipa color with lighter head and not really any lacing. Notes were stale malt, moldy orange, smoke, and other astringent grains throughout. I would have asked for my $ back if I ordered a full glass.

22 oz draft, aroma is clean but faint, almost nonexistent. Very nice head that clings to the glass as you drink it with a golden, slightly hazy color. Good flavor of pine and citrus hops, overall a decent ipa.

Light golden color with a full foamy white head and a light hoppy aroma. It has a full bitter taste with a slightly metallic finish.

Pour from a 12oz bottle. Pale yellow color, lacy but diminishing head. Malty up front but hops soon take over. Significant grapefruit rind and resiney finish. This beer would benefit from dy hopping in a big way. Otherwise, a fair beer at best.
