Draft. Very floral bouquet that smells like a typical IPA. Taste is a more muted IPA but very flavorful with pine and citrus. Very tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour on tap at Midtown Brewing, clear orange-yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of diacetyl, veggie, some slight hints of grass, touch of spice into a bit of earth, biscuit. Taste was a mix of grass, biscuit, bread, hints of yeast, some veggie notes with a hint of butter, finishing fairly bitter.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 6/24/2015. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy orange/amber color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/floral hops and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/piney hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky/resinous, and slightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good IPA. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/piney hops and moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Poured from bottle with an orange color with an average head. Aroma of pine and caramel. Flavors included earthy and garbagey elements / vegetal. Firm bitterness was the best thing going for this one. So so beer.

Man, kinda surprised by the low scores here. Pours golden, somewhat translucent capped by a off white head that reduces to a soapy looking cap. While I agree the nose is slightly weak, taste features plenty of hop resin, pine, and bitterness all topped on top of a medium body. Pine and dryness linger for a bit. This is pretty decent.

I saw recently that this beer won the gold medal over two hearted in a competition in frankenmuth.....it was in frankenmuth. Not a chance. Bad ipa.

12 oz bottle poured to pint glass. Murky, yeasty light gold color with medium head. Picked this up because I read that the brewer claims he created Two Hearted when he worked for Bell’s. This beer is okay, but it doesn’t run with Two Hearted. Nice malt/hop balance with just the right citrus kick for an IPA. finish is bitter, but yeasty.

12 oz. bottle picked up in Toledo. Pours a clear orange golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have some citrus, light resiny character, toasted bread, flavor becomes just bitter with no real flavor profile, pass in the future.

So.. I can?t smell cuz I have a cold. So I gave it a 7.... I dunno... It seemed like rounding up the provocative name would give this beer a little more of a fighting chance... Unfortunately for it that couldn?t really save it.... It?s citrusy but there?s like a TON of floaty yeast which seems inappropriate.... Couple that with I had this right after a two hearted and Yeah...

Poured a cloudy, reddish gold. Minimal head that dissipated quickly. Soft carbonation. Intense citrus aroma. Fresh, slightly sweet, strong hop flavour. Strong, long bitter finish. Not and IPA fan, but this is very good.

12oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy, golden orange with a one finger, white head that leaves a nice coating. Aroma has nice notes of citrus, resin, pine, grapefruit, and slight caramel. Taste is on the bitter side. Citrus, resin, pine, sweet caramel, and a long, bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation. Clean in the mouth with a dry finish. Overall good but could be better. Slightly too much bitter without enough flavour to match it. Citrus, pine, resin, and caramel.
