Pours hazy yellow with light clove notes that show more of a fruit and citrus base and a light easy finish.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Onslow (922) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - APR 10, 2011
UPDATED: MAY 11, 2011 Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Cloudy pale gold brew with a thin white head. Ample lacing as the glass is drained. Excellent aroma of wheat, close, citrus. Flavorful for a hefe, with a smooth and almost sweet wheat flavor blending into a spicy end with lingering lemon sour in the aftertaste. This owuld probably be great with a slice of lemon in it - I don’t have any on hand to try. Nice palate - thin as you’d expect but still satisfying. As with all Frankenmuth brews, very refined with good complexity, absolutely noting off or unpleasant. I hope this is around all summer...
3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 milewide (1197) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - APR 1, 2011
Cloudy blond color with medium head. Fine spice aroma and taste. Medium body. No hops. Hefeweizen is too bland for my tastes, but this is a fine domestic example.

Hazy yellow straw. Aroma is clove, banana, nutty, yeast, pretty true to style. Taste is strong banana with some bitterness, a little bit tart. Not too bad.

Tap at the Corner Bar. Pours a golden straw color with a thin white head. Apple and pear esters mix with a bit of honey and light malt. A rare beer that tastes better than it smells.

7-22-06 MBG. Cloudy golden deecent off-white head. Huge banana aroma hints of clove and I guessed cinnamon, but according to description it’s nutmeg. Flavor much the same, subdued, flattens out at times. Tad more carbonation would help a bunch. As is pretty sessionable hefe.

The pour reveals a hazy blonde color with a thin white head. Very decent aroma and flavor of cloves, nutmeg, bananas and bubble-gum. The palate is light and oily and the carbonation is lively.
