COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A super-premium lager with a reddish color, a toasty malt character and dry taste of hops. The beer made famous by the Munich Oktoberfest.

Pours very light amber color. White head. Smells malty but not sweet. Tastes a bit bland. Smooth and tasty but nothing amazing.

Coppery amber color with an off-white head. Malty with a nutty caramel like sweetness. A light hint of citrus. Lingering finish.

Bottle… Florida Craft Beer and Wing Fest 2012… Clear, amber lager with a small, white head. The faint bouquet is a subtle marriage of caramel and honey. This one is on the light side of medium-bodied and provides stinging carbonation. The flavor leans a touch bitter with acute, spicy Euro-hops and offers moderately toasted malts. Crisp, mildly bitter, dry finish.

12 oz bottle courtesy of Strykzone. Poured a brown with a small tan head and light lacing. Nose of caramel malts, some fruit and floral hops. Medium in body and smooth in mouthfeel. Flavor is mild and a classic marzen and enjoyable enough to drink.

Color is ok, prefer darker Oktoberfest, decent head. Light aroma. Not much flavor. Light-medium body. Needs flavor & aroma.

Bland even by Oktoberfest standards. Amber color with average head. Medium body. Malty, but weak flavor, per the style.

Had this one bottled; thanks Chris! A good example, a tad sweeter than I like but otherwise a very drinkable beer.

12oz bottle via Stevens Point. Slight;y hazy orange-copper. Thin, off white head. Ouch. Any time premium or especially super premium come into play, you know you are in dangerous territory. This one is medium bodied, grainy, and tastes like radioactive factory swill. Deep, cheap sugary tones. Really unenjoyable.

Sadly this is contracted to Point. Saw a 6 pack for 6 bucks so I figured I would try it. 12 oz twist-off. It pours a bubbly orange with a quickly dissipating white head that leaves almost no lacing. The smell is papery and nutty. The flavor is better. A hint of diacetyl (perhaps the ineptitude of the Point brewers or brewing equipment.) The paper note comes through along with some caramel, nuts, and noble hops. It is better than the point oktoberfest and it has potential but it kind of flopped.

Pours a beautiful golden amber with a medium sized tan head. Nose is malty. Nice and creamy on the palate, the taste is mostly of malt with a hint of carmel and a balanced hop note on the finish. Good tasting, but not top tier. Pairs well with deli sandwiched and chips.
